Barbara Heinrich Kech

Barbara Heinrich Kech passed away on March 4, 2026, in Katy, TX, at the age of 74. Born on January 14, 1952, Barbara dedicated over 30 years of her life as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, a role she performed with diligence and pride.
Barbara was a vibrant and loving individual, known for her strong, faithful, and hardworking nature. She cherished her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, with whom she loved to spend time traveling and enjoying leisure activities like floating the lazy river and visiting the beach. Her hobbies also included reading and traveling with her family, creating lasting memories.
She is survived by her brothers Albert, Billy, and Edward Heinrich; sisters Carol Radke and Debbie Sherman; children David, Ray Kech Jr, and Donna Christoph; and grandchildren Blake Ryan Bolster, Ashley Victoria Bolster, Army Private Second Class Andrew Bolster, and Bryce Edward Kech. She also leaves behind her step-grandchildren Sha, Stephen, and Stevie. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, David Ray Kech, father Al Heinrich, mother Pearl Hillin, and step-grandchild Ryan Brinson.
A joint memorial service for Mimi and Papa will be held at her residence at 231 McCormick St., Columbus, Texas, from 12-4 pm on March 14, 2026, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory and celebrate her life.
