Barbara Jean Lappo

Barbara Jean Lappo, 93, of Spring Arbor, Michigan, passed away March 14, 2026 in Jackson County, Michigan.
Barbara was born in Nashville, TN June 14, 1932, to James and Martha (Marcum) Henry. She moved to Michigan at the age of 18 and resided in various areas of the state until her passing. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Xavier Lappo, her brothers Paul Henry and Michael Stewart, her sister Judy Musgrove, and her grandson Shane Marler.
She is survived by her daughters April Marler (Gene Friday), Lisa (John) Saltamartine, and her son James (Liz) Lappo, along with five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Dan (Patty) Stewart and Jim (Claudine)Henry, and sisters Carolyn (Victor) Kashat and Millie MacDonald.
Per her wishes, a formal memorial service will not be held. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be scattered in a private ceremony.
