McIntosh, Barbara Gayle - Passed peacefully on the morning of January 14, 2026 at the age of 85. Born on December 10th, 1940, in Toronto Ontario. Gayle was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband James, and brother Wayne Boshier, as well as her children: Heather, Scott, Kevin, and Cameron. Grandchildren: Aileigh, Alec, Abigail, and Stella. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Verna Boshier.
Gayle was in her element when surrounded by the little ones; her own kids and then later in life, her grandchildren. There was nothing that made her happier than nurturing, cuddling, and spoiling the babies and toddlers.
Through her sixties and seventies, Gayle and Jim were avid ballroom dancers, first as students, later as instructors. They loved their dance nights out with co-party animals Syd & Dorothy, who also happen to be Jim's sister Cathy's in-laws.
Gayle's family and friends will always have a place in their hearts and thoughts.
