Barbara Pierorazio, 84, of Mohegan Lake, NY, passed away peacefully in Delray Beach, FL, after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 1, 2026. She was born in Yonkers, NY, on February 16, 1942, to John and Theresa Seamen.

Barbara married Anthony Pierorazio, on May 16, 1960. They shared 65 years of marriage before Anthony’s passing in June 2025. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Jr.

Barbara leaves behind her daughter Debra Quintanilla of Delray Beach, FL, and her son Michael Pierorazio of Deltona, FL, and her beloved granddaughter Nicole Quintanilla of Mohegan Lake, NY.

Family was the center of Barbara’s world, and her granddaughter Nicole was the light of her life, the sparkle in her eyes and the joy in her heart. Barbara poured love, wisdom, and encouragement into Nicole, who is now applying to graduate school to become an Art Therapist, hoping to give back to others the same compassion and nourishment she received from her Nana.

Barbara dedicated 35 years to the dental field, first as a dental assistant and later as an office manager. She often said her 15 years working in Dr. Fedele Vero’s office were among the happiest of her life. It was there she formed cherished, lifelong friendships with Pam Dulgerian and Dr. Vero, bonds that lasted more than 40 years.

A service will be held on Friday, March 20th at 11:00 am at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1377 East Main Street, Shrub Oak, NY.
