Barbara Leona Steelman, 85, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at Carle Methodist Hospital.
Born August 13, 1940, in Edina, Missouri, Barbara spent most of her life in Peoria, Illinois. She dedicated many years to her career at Champion Furnace and Pipe, where she worked until her retirement. After retiring, Barb enjoyed gardening and taking care of her beloved cats.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Heimer.
Barbara is survived by her son, Donald Steelman (Tammy); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her dear friend, Peggy Wade.
