74 years of age and longtime resident of East Allen Township and Ocean City, Maryland, passed away early Saturday morning January 31, 2026. He was surrounded by his devoted family, while receiving excellent care as a guest of the Brian D. Perin Saint Lukes Hospice House in Lower Saucon Township. Barry was the beloved husband and devoted companion of Debra Ann (Boyle) Hudock for 54 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Henry R. and Cathryn L. (Miscannon) Hudock. A 1970 graduate of Catasauqua High School, he was a self-employed electrical contractor for 42 years, retiring in 2018.
Barry served on the Bath – East Allen Township Recreation Board for 5 years in the 1980’s, and coached BEAYC Soccer and Baseball. He enjoyed his membership in the Blue Mountain Rod and Gun Club, and had a passion for hunting, fishing and archery. An avid recycler, he loved word searches and caring for his dogs and birds. His life was dedicated to family. A super supportive Pop Pop, he always attended his grandchildren’s functions, from dance recitals to various music concerts and sporting events. Barry enjoyed his time at his beach home in Ocean City, Maryland. He ensured his children and grandchildren’s happiness and security were a priority.
Surviving beside his wife Debra; son James Hudock with wife Rebecca of Bath; daughter Nicole Mincin with husband Dino of Upper Macungie Twp; grandchildren Xander and Lennon Hudock, Gianna, Isabella and Sophia Mincin; brother Gregory Hudock with wife Jeanne of Kingston, NY; sister in law Deborah Hudock of Houston, TX. He was predeceased by daughter Brooke J. Hudock in 1980, along with brothers Robert Hudock with wife Sharon and Gery Hudock.
Barry’s family would like to give special thanks to the current and former staff members of the Brian D. Perin Saint Lukes Hospice House for providing peace, comfort and dignity on his journey home. They provided constant compassion, support and above and beyond care. Their dedication made Hospice Care a wonderful experience for Barry and his family.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. John M. Gibbons at 10:00 am on Tuesday February 10, 2026 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
501 Ridge Ave Allentown, PA 18102. His family will receive guests on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd, Whitehall, PA 18052, located 1 block south of the Fullerton Ave exit of Route 22. There will be no visitation on Tuesday morning in Church.
Interment in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery of Bath will be at the convenience of his family.
