Belinda Heath Brinson, 66, of Trenton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1959, in Temple, Texas.
Belinda was the cherished daughter of Mary Heath Waller and stepfather Joe Waller. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Brinson; her father, John Heath; her in-laws, Kemp and Blanch Brinson; and her brother, Johnny Heath.
She is lovingly remembered by her four children: Steve Brinson (Melissa), David Brinson, Gary Brinson, and Angela Brinson. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Chandler Diaz, Hayden Diaz, Khloe Brinson, Haleigh Brinson, Sebastian Brinson, Ciara Brinson, Mackenzie Brinson, and Miranda Price—and four great-grandchildren
Belinda is also survived by her sisters Barbara Price, Betsy Heath, Theresa Heath, and Beverly Pike (Tommy), as well as many nieces and nephews. Her extended family included numerous aunts and uncles.
A devoted member of People's Free Will Baptist Church in Kinston, Belinda's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Even during her courageous battle with cancer, she remained unwavering in her devotion to God. In her final days, she expressed a heartfelt desire for her family to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
Known for her kindness and hospitality, Belinda welcomed others with warmth and grace. Her love for God and family shaped every aspect of her life.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Gentiva Hospice Care for their compassionate support. Special appreciation is also given to People's Free Will Baptist Church—especially the Ladies Auxiliary—and all who offered prayers during this time.
Visitation will be held on January 2, 2026 at 6 PM and Funeral at 7 PM at People's Free Will Baptist Church, 3038 Hwy 258 S., Kinston, NC 28504.
