BELLA (DONNA) ANDERSON OBITUARY January 9, 1969- November 24, 2025
Few personalities can literally change the chemistry of a room. Bella (Donna) Anderson was one of them.
Born Donna Marie Anderson on January 9, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York, Donna was the second daughter of Theodore Anderson and Catherine Seavers-Anderson-Crosson. Donna's life was full of change. She moved from Brooklyn to Lakewood, NJ, then to Howell, NJ, after her mother remarried Edward Crosson, who had three sons from a previous marriage. Donna even spent time on a farm in upstate New York with her new Brady Bunch family. But city life was always calling, so she went back to Brooklyn and graduated with honors in Communications from St. John's University in Jamaica, Queens.
In college, she worked in television at the Regis and Kathy Lee show. Then she moved into public relations. In New York City, Donna became a force behind some of the most sought-after nightclubs and restaurants, shaping their image and filling their rooms with elegance and energy. She had a gift for curating unforgettable moments and hosting elite events where the city's brightest gathered for VIP occasions. She went on to be the head publicist at Playboy Enterprises in New York and was recruited to help lead the PR department in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
She moved to Miami, Florida, to marry and start a family, which resulted in two daughters. Following a divorce, she became a very successful Miami realtor and personal trainer. Donna was a constant reinventor and always had a love of entertainment. Later in life, she changed her name to Bella and became a reality TV star, then a social media model, actor, and spokesperson who went viral at age 52!
She had so many exciting life and career experiences in her 56 years. She traveled to five of the seven continents. But Bella's energetic spirit and love of people were what she was known for most. She is responsible for some of the funniest, most exciting, giving, and unforgettable memories in our family.
The last year of her life was difficult. She tragically lost her older sister, Darlene Anderson-Perry, and was dealing with some painful medical issues. Her sudden, accidental, and untimely death before Thanksgiving 2025 left an empty seat at our family table that can never be filled. Her in-your-face personality and undeniable spirit will forever be missed by her parents, Catherine and Edward Crosson, brothers, daughters, close cousins, godparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and especially her best friends, whom she held very dear.
Wherever you are now, Donna, we know you are grabbing everyone's attention, and you are definitely up front and center dancing!
