She is survived by her five devoted adult children — four daughters and one son — who were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren who will forever carry her lessons, stories, and warmth in their hearts. Bermate is lovingly remembered by her three younger sisters and four brothers, as well as her 29 beloved nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her kindness and generosity.
