Send Flowers Plant A Tree
The family of Bernadette Quintana would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has surrounded us with love, prayers and support during the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Berna. The care, kindness and generosity we have felt from family, friends and neighbors has lifted our hearts in ways words cannot fully capture and reminded us of how deeply she was loved.
We are forever grateful to our family who sat with her, prayed with her and held her hand. Those moments of love brought her comfort, gave her peace and were a constant source of strength for us. To each of you who brought food, sent cards, shared stories, sent flowers, made phone calls, gave a kind word, or simply came to be with us — your love and thoughtfulness touched our hearts in ways we cannot fully express. Hearing from you, feeling your support and seeing how deeply she was loved reminded us that we are not alone and that her life brought so much joy and love to everyone she touched.
We want to thank Dottie from Anvoi Hospice for her compassion and tender care she provided. To St. Anthony's Parish for being a pillar of faith and strength for our family. To Abbot Aidan for leading such a reverent and beautiful service, to Father Christopher, Deacon Richard and brother Timothy for your prayers and participation — we are so grateful. Thank you, Sarah Baca for your service at the altar, Nash Roybal and Ryan Romero for taking part in praying the rosary and Mariachi Euforia for filling the church with music that touched our hearts. To Corrine and Audriana, your readings were full of devotion and love. Thank you, Melissa, for the heartfelt eulogy that captured Berna's spirit so perfectly.
To Berna's pallbearers — Jacob, Byron, Benny, Toby, Robert, Allen, Justin, who carried her with deep love, care and respect. To her honorary pallbearers — Angelique, Adam, Natalie, who held her spirit close in their hearts, keeping her presence with us throughout the service. We cannot thank you enough for honoring her with such devotion.
We extend our sincere appreciation for the gravesite services of Lorenzo Quintana. A special thank you to the United States Army Honor Guard for their honorable presence and for folding and presenting the flag with such dignity and respect.
Our appreciation extends as well to Brian from Frankie's at the Casanova for the wonderful food and service and to the team at Santa Fe Funerals & Cremations for their professionalism, compassion and unwavering support during this difficult journey.
With all our hearts, we thank you for honoring Berna, sharing in the celebration of her life and standing beside us during this time of grief. Because of your love and support, her memory shines on and her spirit continues to live within each of us.
To our loving wife, devoted mom and cherished nana, you were the heart of our family, are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. We will carry your spirit, your laughter and your love in our hearts every single day. Your life was a blessing, your light will continue to guide us, comfort us and remind us of the unconditional love and endless joy you freely gave. Until we are together again, you will always be with us, in every hug, prayer and memory.
With love,
Alfonso and Family
