Betty Jean Anders Corn, 90, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 13, 2026. Born on November 13, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Artellus and Eddis Watson Anders.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved high school sweetheart and husband, Bobby S. Corn, as well as her cherished sister and fishing companion, Lou Ellen Chapman.

A proud graduate of Parker High School in 1954, Betty went on to earn her nursing degree from the Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She dedicated her professional life to serving others as a family nurse practitioner at the Greenville County Health Department. Even after retirement, she remained a devoted caregiver to family and friends.

Betty's vibrant spirit was evident in all she did. In her youth, she was an avid softball player and maintained a lifelong love for fishing and dancing. She found joy in adventures with her grandchildren and was a faithful member of Airport Baptist Church.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Tim Corn (Susan) and Andy Corn, both of Greenville; four grandchildren, Lauren, Levi, Alex Corn (Zach), and Sabrina Neild (Kris); and two great-granddaughters, Eliza and Madelyn Neild. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Shirley, Winkie, Nancy, and Kathleen for their exceptional care and support. Deep appreciation is also given to friends, neighbors, and church members who offered meals, prayers, and comfort during this time.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Airport Baptist Church, 776 S Batesville Rd, Greer, SC 29650.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Airport Baptist Church in Betty's honor.
