Betty Cromer, née Wilson, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, in Vero Beach, Florida. Born on March 3, 1934, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, she lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family and loved ones.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Martin Cromer. Together they built a life centered on love and family. She was a devoted mother to her sons Danny Cromer (Mary) and Ricky Cromer (JoAnna), and a cherished grandmother to Jason Cromer (Melissa), Steven Cromer (DanNhi), Danielle Trautman (Eric), and Kimberly Mansfield (Charles). Her role as great-grandmother brought her great joy; she leaves behind Brett Cromer (Kirsten), Paige Cromer, Brooke Cromer, Cameron Trautman, Caiden Trautman, Kailyn Trautman, Kyler Wu (Tom), Gabriel McClellan, and Lucie Gibson.
She is also remembered by her sister Delora Thrift and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who were touched by her warmth. Betty was predeceased by her grandson Joshua Cromer.
Throughout her life, Betty embraced her roles as a loving spouse, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with grace and dedication. Her presence was a source of strength for those who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on December 30, 2025, at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Rd.
