Betty J. Finger passed away peacefully in her home in Meadow Vista, CA on Monday, Dec 8, 2025. She was born Oct 20, 1947 in Newport, KY as the first child of Billy Elijah & Mildred Thomas.
Betty was a loving Mother to three sons, Jimmy Birge, Brian Birge and Richard Birge. She is survived by her sister Patricia Hernandez, brother Thomas Thomas, granddaughters Amanda & Kelcee Birge, stepson Richard Finger along with many other nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many other beloved family members.
Betty was a homemaker with a passion for gardening and a love of nature. She was very creative and loved giving to others. Using much of her creativity to do just that. Her love for family and history inspired her interest in genealogy and tracing her family's roots.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Billy Elijah & Mildred Thomas, her husband Dwight Finger, her sisters Janet Foster and Joyce Lynch, and her brothers Bill and George Thomas.
Betty loved life and her Creator Jehovah God. She had strong faith in the Bible's promise of a resurrection to life on a Paradise earth. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Auburn, CA on Jan 3, 2026.
