Daughter of Joe and Agnes Lynch. Married to John R. Rennert, son of Leone Moss, stepson of Thomas J. Crowley. Betty and John were high school sweethearts at San Mateo High School and celebrated 60 years of marriage before John, the love of her life, passed away in 2011. John wrote two family history books, with Betty's titled Ancestry of a Coal Miner's Daughter. Preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marjorie B. Hedin and Iva M. Marinaro. Betty worked as a keypunch operator, rising to supervisor, at United Airlines, Lenkirk and Signetics. She later worked as an office manager with John at his investigative firm until they both retired. While working and raising a family, they found time to travel the world, including trips to England, France, Italy, Greece, Canada, Africa, Egypt, Thailand and Australia. Loved vacations included the annual week long trip to Santa Cruz with the grandchildren to enjoy the beach and Boardwalk. Besides traveling with John and preparing holiday meals and gatherings, she treasured every moment with her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Lori and Lynn, grandchildren, Brittany, Megan and Brett, and great granddaughter, Mylah.
