Betty Wonder, 85, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. Born on November 13, 1940, in Silver Run, Maryland, Betty lived a life defined by dedication, love for her family, and a profound connection to nature.
For over thirty years, Betty was the proud owner of King Monuments, where she served her community with care and professionalism. Prior to this, she worked at Bowen McGlaughlin, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence throughout her career.
Betty found joy in the beauty of the outdoors and embraced adventure. She loved traveling in her RV, hiking through scenic landscapes, and spending time at her cherished cabin. She also enjoyed hanging out with her friends, Glenda and Louise. A devoted fan of country music, its melodies often brought her happiness. Above all else, she treasured moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kindness and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Betty’s beloved cat, Baby Girl, brought her comfort and companionship.
She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Klunk, Timothy Klunk, William Imler, and Jennifer Rigel. Betty was predeceased by her husband John Wonder; children Stacy Imler, Lisa Imler, and Cheryl Toal. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
A burial will take place on March 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 310 Westminster Rd., Hanover. Following this will be a Celebration of Life from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Altland House, 1 Center Square Abbottstown Pa.
