Beyond her musical accomplishments, Bettye enjoyed working and engaging with her clients as a long-time employee of Golf Trips. She also enjoyed Alabama football , traveling, reading, playing games, and cherishing time with loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Irene White and James Bailey White of White Bluff, Tennessee, and by her husband Rick Suns.

Bettye is survived and will be forever missed by her four children and their spouses: Wanette Welbourne (David), Jeffery Wayne Anderson, Kristen Hauck (Art), and Patti B. Mayfield (Robert); eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Linda Pohuski (Joe) and Betty Jackson (Lee) for their unwavering support.
