Beverly J. Langston

Beverly J Langston (Cook), a cherished servant of the Lord, aged 75, was called home on February 14, 2026, in Shreveport, LA, after a valiant journey with Cancer. She was born on November 8, 1951, in Biloxi, MS, and throughout her life, Beverly embodied the spirit of humility and unwavering love, dedicating herself to the service of God and His creation.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Bobby Langston; her beloved son, Jeremy Langston and his wife, Angel; her sisters, Patti Morgan Martini (David), Cheryl Thomas (James), and Deana Ripa (Dominick); her brothers, Ray Cook (Cindy) and Bryan Cook (Allie), her Sister-in-law Jodie Brown; her treasured grandchildren, Austin Holder, Gillian Davis, Landon Langston, Daisy Langston, and Ariel Langston; and her adored great-grandson, Asher Holder. Beverly now joins in glory her late parents, Ray D Cook Sr. and Fannie Jo Cook, and her angelic daughter, Amanda Leigh Langston.

A devout disciple and member of Westview Christian Church, Beverly's earthly journey will be honored in a service reflective of her gratitude for the Lord's blessings. The service will be held at her church home, Westview Christian Church, Shreveport, LA, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with Minister Gary Boswell leading the congregation in a celebration of her faith-filled life. Her gentle spirit and enduring faith will remain a testament to the grace of God within the hearts of all who knew her.

Embracing the humility that marked her life, Beverly chose to return to nature, with her ashes to be sacredly spread in Navarre, FL, where she often marveled at God's majestic ocean. In this way, she will eternally rest in the serenity of God's artwork, continuing to watch over her son and his family.
