Beverly Elaine Nagle (Freezer), 69, of Port Matilda, PA passed away on October 12th, 2025 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA after a brief illness with gallbladder cancer. She was a devoted mother and grandmother with infectious laughter who found joy in all aspects of her life. She will be deeply missed by all of us who knew her.
Bev was born on November 21st, 1955 in Williamsport, PA to Ruth and Howard Freezer Sr. She was a 1973 graduate of Williamsport Area High School. She enjoyed a career as a forklift operator for Alcan Cable Company and in later years moved to the State College area to be a daily presence in her granddaughter’s life. Bev enjoyed baking cookies, decorating for and celebrating holidays, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, including a cruise to Alaska with her daughters, visiting Austria twice, and most recently taking an RV cross-country trip with her best friend.
She is preceded in death by her mother (Ruth Freezer), father (Howard Freezer Sr.), four siblings (Phyllis Freezer, Howard Freezer Jr., Gary Freezer, and Linda Grimes), and a nephew (Michael Freezer).
She is survived by her daughters, Brandi Robinson (Anthony) of Port Matilda, PA and Betsy Stetler (Jeremy) of Elizabethtown, PA, granddaughter Claire Robinson, best friend of more than 40 years, Deborah Page, of Williamsport, PA, brothers Jeff (Brenda) Freezer, Mark (Debra) Freezer, and Matt (Anna) Freezer all of Williamsport, PA, sister Sherry Nork of Williamsport, PA, sisters-in-law Christina Freezer of Fortson, GA and Sarah Freezer of Williamsport, PA along with many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at The Carriage House in Williamsport, PA on Sunday, November 9th between 11am - 1pm with a light brunch. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to a charity Bev passionately supported throughout her life, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
