Beverly Jo Sanborn, age 88, of Dover, passed away on 12 February, 2026 at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock and entered into her eternal home. During her final week she was surrounded by her loving family.
Jo (as she was best known by) was born on March 10, 1937, to the late Curtis and Emma (Clark) Mitchell in San Antonio, TX. She was married to Paul W. Sanborn for fifty-fours years prior to his passing and has been a resident of Dover for the past forty-six years. She was a Christian woman, and considered her best traits being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother (or GG as they called her). In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Jean Abbott, two brothers, Thomas Mitchell and Richard Mitchell, and a son, Mike Sanborn. She is survived by four children: Dave Sanborn and his wife, Mary, of Atkins; Lana Sue Ledezma and her husband, Joe, of Kerrville, Texas; Daniel Sanborn and his wife, Lisa, of Pottsville; and Richard Sanborn and his wife, Melanie, of Dover; a daughter-in-law: Wanita Sanborn, of Hagarville; a brother: Curtis Mitchell, of Dover; a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. The family will hold a Celebration of Life in the Spring to allow distant family to attend. The family would like to extend their appreciation to their extended family, friends and churches for their prayers and support during this time.
