William "Bill" Schoenbaechler, 85, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. Born January 29, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of William and Alberta Schoenbaechler and a graduate of Saint Xavier High School.
A gifted musician, Bill began teaching music at 17 and played the accordion, guitar, and piano. He later worked as a golf salesman for Hillerich & Bradsby, makers of Louisville Slugger, before relocating to Central Florida in the early 1970s with his wife of 52 years, Susan, who preceded him in death in 2020. Together they founded Scenic Card and Novelty, Inc.
Bill was a devout Catholic, devoted to his family, and cherished his roles as Dad and Papa. He is survived by his children, Angela Fetzko, Stephen Schoenbaechler, and Maria Sorondo; grandchildren William and Michael Fetzko, and Marianna Sorondo; and his sister, Sharon Murray.
A Funeral Mass will be held on January 31, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th St., Clermont, FL 34711.
