Blaine Clemans

1971 - 2026

Blaine Clemans, 54, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, unexpectedly passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on October 25, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, Blaine lived a life filled with faith, laughter, and a deep love for his family and friends.

Blaine grew up in Lee's Summit and graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1990. He pursued higher education at The University of Missouri in Columbia, later completing his degree at Columbia College. Throughout his life, Blaine remained a devoted Tiger fan and loved all things Mizzou.

A man of unwavering faith, Blaine believed wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ as his savior. He read the Bible nightly and sought to bring Heaven closer to those around him through his actions. Throughout his life, he went above and beyond to take care of his friends and loved ones. His kindness and care for others earned him the affectionate title of a "Saint on Earth."

Blaine was known for his vibrant and authentic personality and unforgettable sense of humor. His distinctive laugh could light up any room (or shock anyone who wasn't prepared for it), and his playful pranks brought joy to countless gatherings. His friends often remarked that "you didn't just meet Blaine; you experienced Blaine." He coined so many memorable phrases—fondly called "Blaine-isms"—that became part of the shared lexicon among his loved ones.

An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Blaine enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, skiing, camping, disc golf, and playing cards and games. Countless lasting memories were created with friends and family throughout the course of his life playing games, traveling, and enjoying the company of his loved ones.

Blaine is survived by his loving mother, Barb Clemans; his niece Cassandra (Johnathan) Richardson and their children Ferrah, Adrienna, Lyla, Willow, Damien, and Gage; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father Harlain Clemans; brother Mark Clemans; maternal grandparents Mark and Opal Rathbone; and paternal grandparents Albert and Irene Clemans.

Blaine's legacy is one of kindness, faithfulness, humor, and love. Those who knew him will never forget the way he made them feel so very valued and cared for. As one friend said: "You wanted him in your foxhole." May his memory inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Faulkner's Ranch, 10600 Raytown Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64134.
