Blaine Freeman Little, age 83, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Blaine was born on May 23, 1942, in Boise, Idaho. He spent his early childhood in the small town of Mayfield, Idaho, where he formed many fond memories playing on the family ranch. His family later relocated to Nampa, Idaho, where Blaine would spend the remainder of his life.
He graduated from Nampa High School in 1961 and continued his education at Link Business College.

Shortly after graduation, Blaine met the love of his life, Eleanor Smart. They were married on June 8, 1963, and were blessed with five children: Timbre, Shawn, David, and their twin's Shadeau & Ambre.

Family and faith were Blaine’s most treasured gifts. He openly shared his faith with anyone willing to listen and lived it daily through kindness and generosity.
He cherished time spent with his family and loved recounting stories of hunting trips with his father-in-law and deep-sea fishing adventures in Mexico with his children.

Throughout his life, Blaine worked various jobs including farm work, plumbing, and owning janitorial businesses, before building a career with Frito-Lay as a local route salesman. After retirement, he found himself eager to stay busy and chose to volunteer as a school bus driver for children in the Head Start Program, where the kids would fondly refer to him as “Mr. Blaine.”

Music brought Blaine great joy. He played the flute throughout high school and would gladly pull it out to play a tune when asked. He also possessed a beautiful singing voice, which he shared proudly with his congregation at the Kingdom Hall. Blaine loved listening to others sing as well, and one of his favorite pastimes was attending the opera with his dear friend, David.

Blaine will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and generous soul. Though known for being a talker, he was an equally good listener. If anyone needed someone to talk to, or offer advise, he would be there at any time of day. If someone was struggling or hungry, he would gladly share a meal (or a bag of Lay’s). If someone needed a place to stay, his home was always open. He truly lived the teachings found in Matthew 25:35–36.

Blaine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor; his children; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses,
2313 Southside Blvd, Nampa, ID 83636.
Immediately following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at approximately 3:45 PM at The Brick Office House,
