Blake Kevin-Harrison Dorman
December 26, 2001 – February 15, 2026

Blake Kevin-Harrison Dorman, 24, of Southlake, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2026 in College Station, TX. Born on December 26, 2001, in Fairfax, Virginia, to Dianne L. Dorman, Blake was a son, brother, uncle, and friend whose life, though far too short, was lived with remarkable purpose, faith, and heart.

At just 24 years old, Blake was only beginning to show the world the incredible man his family and closest friends already knew him to be. He centered his life on Christ, boldly living out his faith and encouraging many friends to attend church and deepen their own relationships with God. On Sunday, October 26, 2025, he was baptized at Declaration Church in Aggieland, a moment that reflected the devotion he carried in his heart every day.

Blake loved music across all genres, especially Texas Red Dirt and classic country. Whether attending concerts and music festivals or DJ’ing at Hurricane Harry’s and Stampede in College Station, he moved through life with a rhythm all his own. He often took the long way home just to finish a favorite song, savoring every note. After late nights DJ’ing, Blake would frequently offer safe rides home to those leaving Northgate, looking out not only for friends but for strangers as well.

A proud Aggie, Blake didn’t just attend Texas A&M University — he embodied its spirit. He earned his Aggie Ring in October and lived the university’s core values of excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service. From serving as Equipment Manager for Texas A&M Football to his involvement in the Sport Management Society and the Bodybuilding Club, Blake poured himself fully into every opportunity.

Before college, Blake served as Team Manager for the Southlake Carroll Football program from 2017 to 2020, He was a graduate of Carroll Senior High School (2020) in Southlake, Texas, and attended Don T. Durham and Walnut Grove Elementary Schools. He also completed Private Pilot ground school in his junior year.

Blake was fiercely protective of those he loved — his family, his friends, and even those he had just met. He was a fun-loving uncle who adored his nieces and a steadfast son whose strength extended beyond his years. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and unwavering support to all who knew him.

Blake is survived by his mother, Dianne L. Dorman of Southlake, TX; his brothers, Andrew Dorman of Southlake, TX, and Christopher Murphy of Centreville, VA; his uncles, Kurt Murphy of Bristow, VA, and Rich Phillips of Sleepy Hollow, VA; and his beloved nieces, Ellie, Danielle, and Luna Dorman of Southlake, TX.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rawley H. and Winifred E. Dorman; his father, Kevin E. Murphy; his brother, William M. Murphy; his uncle, Daniel J. Dorman; and his aunt, Kathy Phillips.

Blake’s heart for service extended beyond his immediate circles. He volunteered with Reel Cause Fishing Foundation, Speedway Children’s Charities, Swim for Elise Foundation, Feed-a-Hero, Scholars Athletes Serving Others (SASO), and Metroport Teen Court, He was also involved with the City of Southlake Youth Action Commission (SYAC), Southlake Young Life, the Founder & Chairman of the Southlake Teenage Republicans Club (STARS), Elm Fork Select Competitive Shooting team, Southlake Carroll Target Team (TRAP Lieutenant), Tarrant County Young Marines (PVT)

Visitation will be held Friday, February 27th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1143 Butterfield Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051.

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, a viewing will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and a reception from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., also at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1143 Butterfield Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051.

A Celebration of Life will follow from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards, 2520 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth, TX 76164, in the private room known as The Guitar Bar.

Blake’s life was a song of faith, service, strength, and love. Though his time here was brief, the impact he made will echo for generations. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, courage, and Christ-centered living that will never be forgotten.

We will be gathering to say our final goodbyes to Blake [Date - TBD next week]. Please feel free to join us for his memorial service, followed by the burial at Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax, VA. Details to follow.
