Bobbie J. Washington

Bobbie Jean Washington, 52, of Gary, IN passed away peacefully on November 8,2025. She was born on April 25, 1973. She graduated from Sawyer College with a Medical Assistant certificate. Bobbie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, listening to music, and watching lifetime movies. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and honesty to everyone who knew her.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents Era Mae Feagan and Johnny Wesley Washington; sisters Jenine Washington, Shelnetta Washington and Jacqueda Feagan; brother Jerome Feagan; nephew DeJuan Plummer.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children; daughter Re'Unshanik (Ronald) Scott of Gary, IN, sons Eddie (Catherine) Grimes, Ronnie Winston , both of Indianapolis, IN, and Kenneth (Lexus) Grimes of Iowa; sisters Christine Washington of Gary, IN, Maxine Washington of Grand Rapids, MI, Tasheba Watkins of Sacramento, CA, and Earlene Tolliver of Milwaukee, WI; brothers NaQuan Jackson of Gary, IN, and James (Sherri) Washington of Michigan City, IN, children father Ronnie Winston, special cousin Artillius Washington, special friend Tamara Carter, eleven grandchildren, three uncles, one aunt, a host of nieces and nephews and extended family whom she loved deeply.
Bobbie strength and love will continue to live on in all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
