Bonnie Holtmann Bobbitt, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in Englewood, Ohio. Born on November 13, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, Bonnie led a life marked by dedication to her family, her work, and the many people she encountered along the way.

A proud graduate of Fairview High School's Class of 1961, Bonnie continued her education at Bowling Green University, where she earned her degree. Her academic pursuits laid the groundwork for a meaningful and impactful career.

From 1985 until her retirement in 2015, Bonnie served as the volunteer manager at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. In this role, she coordinated over 550 volunteers who supported the museum's mission. Her leadership and enthusiasm helped create a welcoming environment for visitors from around the world and left a lasting impression on the museum community.

Bonnie's life was deeply enriched by her family. She is remembered with love by her husband Bob Bobbitt; daughter Wendy Price and her husband Jeff; granddaughter Morgan; grandson Cameron (Sam); great-grandbaby Carson; son Donnie Holtmann and his wife Libby; grandsons Jacob and Max; sister Marcia Puhalsky; nieces Jenny Middleton and Luanne Hovis, along with Luanne's daughter Katie; brother-in-law Gordon Howard; nephew Mike Howard with his wife Rochelle and their children Mitchell, Matt, and Megan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Franklin Baker and Marcella Alverna Nickel; sister Jeanne Howard; and niece Cindy Howard.

Bonnie found joy in life's simple pleasures—her vibrant sense of humor brightened every room she entered. She cherished time spent at the beach and was a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

A memorial gathering is being held at Brookdale Englewood located at 95 W Wenger Road on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 1:00-3:00pm.
