Bozena Alice White

Bozena Alice White (Ondrejcik) known to all as Zena, was born in Czechoslovakia on October 19, 1935. She came to America on the Queen Elizabeth, landing in Ellis Island in 1947. There she met and married John Benjamin White Jr. on March 15, 1954 and together shared a life of love for 46 years until his passing. Unable to have children of their own, they adopted three children, moved from the northeast to Florida and enjoyed raising their family, gardening, yard work, dancing together and early morning red fishing.
Zena never knew a stranger and was always engaging to who ever was around her. She believed in lending a hand and helping those in need, especially children. She lived her life treating others as she wanted to be treated.
Her golden rule.
She enjoyed working with people as a waitress, as a substitute teacher and was honored by Citrus Memorial Hospital for her 15+ years as a volunteer, where she greeted everyone with a smile.
It is no wonder that she will be missed by her surviving children: Teresa Cantin (Don), Lori Diez (Randy), Rodney White
Her grandchildren: Derrick Stambek (Amanda), Michelle Stambek (Kelli), Randy Diez Jr., Michael Diez (Alexa), Lexie Diez (Fiancée Curtis) Amanda Cantin, Eric Cantin and great grandchildren, Emily, Jaxon, Callie, Rhyan and Maddox. Her friends, Dotti, Rosetta, Vi and remaining family.

Zena passed peacefully with family beside her in her home that she called "My heaven".

The family will hold a private memorial and in lieu of flowers Zena would be honored for any donations to be gifted to Saint Judes Children's Hospital, where she donated regularly.
Godspeed to her soul and may she and John continue dancing in heavens.
