Our beloved Husband, Father and Brother. Bradley G. Hackett passed away peacefully in his home on March 8, 2026 at the age of 72. He is survived by his sons Travis Hackett, and Charles Brannan Lambert, daughter Tara Groves, and wife Kelly Hackett.
He was born in Modesto, CA, on February 10, 1954. Brad attended Thomas Downey High School and graduated in 1972. His childhood in Modesto instilled a lifelong passion for sports, fishing and camping, and he loved to speak about it with anyone who would listen. He was a season ticket holder for the 49er's and had attended several Superbowl games.
Bradley and Kelly first met at a music concert in 1985, their mutual appreciation for music continued throughout their marriage.
Bradley worked in the food processing industry for 45 years in the Teamster's Union, holding various positions and retired as a maintenance supervisor from Stanislaus Foods in 2012.
He leaves behind his brother Chris Hackett; children Travis Hackett, Charles Brannan Lambert and Tara Groves; and four grandchildren, Bryson Lambert, Hannah Groves, Madilyn Lambert and Paige Groves. He was preceded in death by his father Ron Hackett, mother Loretta Hackett, Brothers Stuart Hackett and Greg Jones.
A service will be held at The Masonic Hall. Located at 800 Rose Avenue, Modesto, CA on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1pm -4pm with a memorial plaque placed at the Acacia Memorial Park in Modesto, CA, All friends and family are welcome. The family asks that donations to Hospice be made instead of flowers or other gifts.
