Brenda Gayle (Smith) Bradley, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 30, 2025 at Medical City Hospital of Dallas.
Brenda Gayle was born 17th of January 1948 to the late Samuel Nolan Smith and Paulyne Marie (Brumley) Smith. She graduated from WW Samuell High School, class of 1966. Brenda Gayle worked over 30 years for the City of Dallas until her retirement in 2003. She also worked at the State Fair of Texas upwards of 20 years, including a few years after retirement from the City of Dallas. She enjoyed cooking, vacations, cruises, fishing, movies and television, country music, Dr. Pepper, most of all family get togethers and engaging in a game of dominos, which she usually won.
Brenda Gayle is survived by her two children, DeLynda Kay Madrigal of Dallas and Tina Gayle Williams and her husband Matt of Forney, TX; six grandchildren, Blayne Ochoa and his girlfriend Juana, Damian Madrigal, Cameron Parra and his wife Lauren, Evan Parra, Ava Norvell, and Allyson Williams; three great grandchildren, Andres Ochoa, Camila Parra, and Melody Parra; her sister and brother in law Robert and Susan Ward of Italy, TX; and her nephew and niece, Jason Ward and Lisa Bowling (Ward) and their families. Although they were not united in marriage anymore, her late ex-husband Gene Bradley and his family always remained close to her. Survived by her "sisters-in-law" Barbara Ward, Debra Anderson, & Vicki Rooney along with many other nieces and nephews and their families.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, October 13th, 11am in The Chapel at First Baptist Church Forney to commemorate her years of dedication to family and friends.
