Brenda Alice Winfield passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Columbia, Maryland. She was born on May 14, 1941, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late William B. and Marian (Waters) Scott.
On May 7, 1960, Brenda married her beloved husband, the late Gilbert E. Winfield of Harrisburg. Together they had three sons.
Brenda is survived by her sons Mark Winfield, Bryan Winfield and his wife Fern, and Keith Winfield; her granddaughter Briana Winfield; her sisters Joyce Parker, Cynthia Harris, Marcia Kilborn, and Lynn Scott; and her sister-in-law Mae Jackson. She also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and friends who were touched by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Winfield; her parents William B. and Marian Scott; and her brothers William Scott and John Scott.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held in Spring 2026. Further details will be shared at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Children's Education Fund in Brenda’s memory.
