Brian Benham

Brian F. Benham, born on October 23, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, in his hometown of Grand Rapids. He was 66 years old.

Brian was the beloved son of the late Gordon and Opal Benham. He is survived by his daughters Tammy (Marcus) Vandenbosch and Teresa (Harmon) Taylor; his brother Bruce Benham; his sisters Sue (William) Tumbling and Patricia Benham; eight cherished grandchildren; two nephews; and two great-nephews. Brian's family brought him great joy throughout his life.

A lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Brian had a passion for motorsports that defined many of his weekends. Sundays were often spent enjoying NASCAR races, while Saturdays found him at Berlin Raceway, where he delighted in the thrill of live racing.

In accordance with Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place. His family plans to gather later this summer to celebrate his life and honor the memories they shared with him.
