Beloved wife, devoted mother, loyal friend, and tireless community volunteer, Bridget Allyn Gilpatrick Armstrong of Phoenix, MD, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2026, surrounded by the family she cherished above all else. She was 57 years old.

Born on February 20, 1969, in Madison, Wisconsin, Bridget spent most of her life in the Baltimore suburbs, where she built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Known for her radiant smile, generous spirit, and boundless devotion to her family, Bridget lived a life rooted in kindness, faith, and service. She had a rare gift for making others feel welcomed, supported, and deeply cared for.

A 1991 graduate of Towson University, Bridget began her professional career in Richmond, VA, working in advertising. After the birth of her first child in 2001, followed by two more in 2004 and 2005, she chose to devote herself to raising her children, embracing with joy and purpose the role that meant the most to her: being their mother.

Bridget met her husband, Tom Armstrong, on Fishers Island, NY, and they were married in the summer of 2000. After brief chapters in Manhattan, NY, and Greenwich, CT, they settled in Phoenix, MD, where they made their home and remained ever since. Bridget and Tom shared a deep love of children and education, which inspired them to give back to their community. Together, they volunteered their time and energy at Grace Preschool, Gilman School, Roland Park Country School, and several other local organizations, leaving a lasting impact on the families and children they supported.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Thomas N. Armstrong IV; her three beloved children, Thomas N. Armstrong V (Quinn), Katherine J. Armstrong (Kate), and Elinor M. Armstrong (Ellie); and her siblings, Heather M. Gilpatrick, Jamie K. Anderson, and Clancy P. Gilpatrick.

Services will be held at Church of the Nativity on March 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the link below in Bridget’s memory. Tunnels to Towers https://dogood.t2t.org/give/320847/#!/donation/checkout
