Bruce Marc Blumberg
June 7, 1949 – December 11, 2025
Bruce Marc Blumberg, 76, of Placerville, California, passed away on December 11, 2025.
Born in Peekskill, New York, on June 7, 1949, Bruce was the beloved son of Irving and Mildred Blumberg and the cherished grandson of Helen Orentzel. He graduated from Peekskill High School in 1967 before studying accounting at Rider University.
After serving in the National Guard, Bruce worked for several manufacturing firms and throughout the years was also a successful real estate investor. He later opened his own accounting practice in Manhattan. To this day, his many clients still warmly remember him, grateful for the integrity and dedication he brought to his work. His relationship with his clients was a source of tremendous pride for him.
Bruce worked tirelessly to support his family, who were the center of his life. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; his children Jason (Michele), David (Juliana), and Helaina (Dustin); his grandchildren Mason, Brody, Nolan, Hudson, Andrew, Kaia, Grant, Dagny, Diana, and Belle; his brother Jerry (Thelma); and many nieces and nephews.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bruce had many passions. He loved his blue 1968 Corvette Stingray, playing billiards, cheering for the New York Yankees, reading, and telling bedtime stories to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed trips to Florida, browsing flea markets, savoring great food and coffee, watching NCIS (at least until Mark Harmon left), and anything featuring Chuck Norris (hey, who doesn't?)
Bruce was truly one of a kind, remembered for his incredible strength of spirit, and his devotion to family. He cherished his ancestors, honored his Jewish heritage, and he was especially proud to be a Blumberg. He will be sorely missed by his family who loved him dearly.
Funeral Service will be held on December 21, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM at Sharon Gardens, Kensico Cemetery 273 Lakeview Avenue
