Bryn Liliuokalani Scott, 22, of Carlsbad, California, passed away at her home July 1, 2025, following an accident at the residence.
Born at home on August 17, 2002 in Ashland Oregon, she was a 2020 graduate of Ashland High School.
Bryn loved to travel, lived in Arizona and Hawaii prior to settling in California and easily found employment wherever she lived. Most recently, Bryn became a licensed Esthetician in the state of California and was excited to pursue a profession in skin care, beauty and wellness. She had a lofty goal of one day starting her own Day Spa & Vintage Clothing Boutique.
Bryn displayed favorable qualities of her paternal lineage such as gifted athletic ability, good sense of humor, love of animals and an entrepreneur leaning. She displayed favorable qualities from her maternal lineage such as philosophical enquiry and deep thinking, love of music, justice minded, and discerning eye for quality materials and fashion trends. Her friends appreciated her ability to take deep philosophical concepts and reframe them in simple terms. They also enjoyed her fun, witty sense of humor.
Bryn is survived by her mother Laura E. Roll Kreuzman (Joe Kreuzman), father Treg H. Scott (Anela Olsen), brother Shea F. Scott, maternal grandmother Melanie J. Roll, maternal grandfather John F. Roll Jr., maternal aunt M. Renee Roll (Jimmy Breau), maternal cousin Maxime Breau, paternal aunt Stacey E. Millstein (Jeff Millstein) and two spoiled kitties Teja and Frankie.
Preceding her death were paternal grandmother Joyce A. Jeffers, paternal grandfather Hayes O. Scott II and paternal cousin James S. Millstein.
Bryn's memory was honored with contributions to Women's Shelters in Carlsbad California and Medford Oregon, in accordance with her advocacy for women in need. Contributions were also made toward a traditional school in India providing food for families and care for an original breed of cows that dwell on the property. Several meaningful tribute gatherings took place: one in Ashland by friends and neighbors, another with extended family on the upper Rogue River, and lastly with immediate family and well wishers at the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India. Continued support is rendered and contributions made in connection with her mother's yoga community in India.
Although Bryn's life was short, she left an indelible impact on those she came into contact with. She will be greatly missed.
