Carl John Corrado, 75, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Pompano Beach, Florida. Born on July 30, 1950, in East Boston, Massachusetts, Carl lived a life marked by dedication to family, service to his country, and a joyful embrace of life’s simple pleasures.
A proud graduate of East Boston High School and Suffolk University, Carl achieved the distinction of being the first in his family to earn a college degree—an accomplishment that reflected his determination and commitment to personal growth. Carl was a teacher in the Boston Public school system for 20 years. He was a natural teacher and cared for and enjoyed his students.
Carl served honorably in the Army National Guard for six years, attaining the rank of Second Lieutenant. His time in service exemplified his sense of duty and leadership.
Throughout his life, Carl found joy in the company of others and in the activities he loved most. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed golf and tennis and cherished time spent with friends and family. In retirement, he especially relished wintering in Florida, where he embraced each day with warmth and gratitude.
Carl was known for his unwaveringly positive outlook on life. He often said, “everything’s beautiful,” a phrase that captured his spirit and left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His optimism was infectious, and his presence brought light to every gathering.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Iolanda Corrado; his sons, Nicholas Corrado and Christopher Corrado; as well as many nieces and nephews who held him dear. Carl was predeceased by his sister Geraldine Natale; brothers Gerard Corrado and Donny Corrado; and parents Elena and Carlo Corrado.
Carl John Corrado was deeply loved by many and will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire joy in their hearts.
