Carleen Pridgen Parrish

Carleen Pridgen Parrish, 79, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Wilmington, NC. Born on February 9, 1946, Carleen was known for her beautiful, caring, compassionate, and loving soul, touching the lives of many around her.
Carleen dedicated much of her time and love to her family and grandchildren, who were her main hobby and greatest joy. She is survived by her son, Michael Squires; grandchildren, Christopher Newton, Brittany Squires, and Bailey George; and great-grandchildren, Ava, Mason, Logan, Bryson, and Natalie.
A long-time member of Silver Lake Baptist Church, Carleen was deeply involved in her church community, where her faith and fellowship provided great comfort and joy throughout her life.
A service to celebrate Carleen's life will be held at Silver Lake Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM followed by the service at 1:00 PM.
