Carmen Aida Martinez

Carmen Aida Martinez, age 82, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Bronx, NY. Born on March 6, 1943, Carmen was known for her caring, funny, empathetic, and loving nature.
Carmen leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Robert; daughter, Lillian; son, Robert Jr; granddaughters, Adrienne, Melissa, and Jessica; great-granddaughters, Ariel, Heaven, and Shiloh; great-grandsons, Joseph, Matthew, TJ, Adrian, Joseph, Jace, and Jaden; and great-great-grandsons, Angel and Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Antonio Rodriguez Santiago, and her brother, Freddie Rodriguez. Carmen is survived by her brother Jose Antonio, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The community will have the opportunity to pay their respects at Ortiz Funeral Home, located at 2121 Westchester Ave, Bronx, NY. Services will be held on January 13-14, 2026, from 4-8 PM.
