CAROL ANN MARION

1953 - 2026

Carol Ann Marion, aged 72, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Victoria, British Columbia. Born on April 23, 1953, in Montreal, Quebec, Carol Ann was the cherished daughter of the late Stillman and Mary Marion.

Carol Ann graduated from McDonald Cartier High School in Montreal and embarked on a remarkable career as a planner, scheduler, and administrator. Her professional journey spanned decades and included roles at esteemed companies such as Pratt & Whitney (Montreal) from 1974 to 1994, Rolls Royce (Montreal) from 1995 to 1999, GM Diesel (London, Ontario) from 2001 to 2005, Spartan Aerospace (London, Ontario) from 2006 to 2008, and Clair's Home Care (Nanaimo, British Columbia) from 2009 to 2010. Her dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and those she worked with throughout her career.

Carol Ann had a vibrant personality and a wide array of interests that brought joy to her life and those around her. She had a passion for home décor and improvements, often finding creative ways to make spaces beautiful and welcoming. Shopping for clothes and home items was another favorite pastime that reflected her impeccable taste. She loved chatting with friends over meals at restaurants or while enjoying movies, TV series, or home shows. Animals held a special place in her heart—especially dogs—and she was an advocate for healthy living. Carol Ann also found fulfillment in volunteering her time to help others.

Above all else, Carol Ann will be remembered for her kindheartedness and caring nature. She fought a brave battle with cancer but remained steadfast in her love for life and those close to her. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her.

Carol Ann is survived by her devoted husband Doug; her sister Rosemary (Buddy); her brother John (Karen); nieces Kim (Dave) and Leah (Adrian); nephews Jason and Mark; as well as many friends who were fortunate enough to share in her life. She was predeceased by her beloved parents Stillman and Mary Marion.

Though she left us far too soon, Carol Ann's love and friendship will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort during this time of loss.

Rest in peace, Carol Ann—you will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
