Carol Ann Carlson (11/09/1942 - 03/22/2026)
Carol Ann Carlson, 83, of Milwaukie, Oregon, passed away in her sleep of kidney failure at her home in Mesquite, Texas on March 22nd, 2026.
Carol was born in Milwaukie, Oregon in the year 1942 and adopted by parents Bessie and Merl Larson. She was the youngest of four biological siblings, three sisters and one brother. Carol was a studious and quiet child, known for keeping to herself, and she loved to play the piano with her grandmother. Carol attended Milwaukie High School before marrying her husband, Bruce Douglas Carlson, on July 14th of 1961.
Carol was preceded in death by her son Kurt ‘K.C’ Carlson and husband Bruce Douglas Carlson. She is survived by her children Kirk Carlson, Kim Carlson, and Kellie Paulson, her grandchildren Ronald Paulson III, Cory Paulson, and Ariel Pauslon, as well as her great-grandson, Conner Paulson. Carol was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. Affectionately called "Fufu" by family and friends due to her particular brand of cleanliness, she was known for her dedication and faith in her spirituality, her love of the piano, animals, crime shows, and baking. In her youth she was renowned for giving back to her community by feeding and cooking for the homeless and will be remembered for having a generous heart and a radiant soul.
