Carol Renee Holt

Carol Renee Holt, 65, of Brooks, Ga. died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Wordy Hugh Holt and the late Margaret Elizabeth Crews Holt Byous of Fayette County, Ga.
Renee retired in 2014 from the Town of Tyrone Public Works Department where she earned numerous awards and received many certifications in public works.
She was a hard worker who created and ran her own company, Champion Lawn Care, for several years.
She loved spending time with her family, taking care of her little dog Pawpaw, working on cars with her brother, and visiting the beach at St. George Island, Fla. She loved music and taught herself to play the guitar at an early age.
She was a Master Gardener and enjoyed growing flowers, plants and vegetables, of which she shared with family and friends.
Survivors include her brother, Tim Holt of Barnesville, Ga., sister, Linda Eady of Barnesville, Ga., sister, Elizabeth Kastle and brother-in-law, Mike Sulhoff of Rapid City, SD, nieces, Alisha Wolcott of Fla., Pamela Holt-Stephens and her husband, Brian of Barnesville, Ga., devoted friend, Ursula Todd of Brooks, Ga., friend, Stetson (Tiger) Todd of Carrollton, Ga., and other family members.
Memorialization was by cremation at Conner Westbury Funeral Home in Griffin, Ga.
