Carol Jane Kellum (Mather/Stacconi)

Formerly of Vestal and Endicott, NY passed peacefully from this world to reunite with her husband and family in heaven.
She graduated from Vestal Schools in 1957, married Robert C. Stacconi in 1958 and had 4 children.
Many years after her divorce from Robert, she reconnected with Gordon Kellum, whom she had dated 43 years previously. She and Gordon were married in 1999.
In 2024, they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
During their marriage, they enjoyed many trips traveling around the country visiting friends and family. After Gordon's passing in July of 2025, Carol made the decision to move to Texas to live out her life closer to her daughter Lisa and her family.
She was extremely happy in Texas being able to spend so much precious time with Lisa and her family.
Carol is survived by her children Rob (Kathy) Stacconi, Rick (Bonnie) Stacconi, Bonni (Randy) Phelps, Lisa (Brian) Deshaies, and her step-children Suzanne (Doug) Machin, Steve (Patti) Kellum, John (Paula) Kellum, Chris Kellum, Michael (Cortney) Kellum, Anna Kellum, sisters Brenda and Janice, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Gordon M. Kellum, her parents Walter T. Mather and A. Irene Mather (Mills), her brother Thomas Mather, brothers-in-law Anthony Middendorf and Ralph Henry.
At her request, there will be no services.
