Carol Louise Kneasel, beloved mother, and grandmother, left this world at the age of 73, passing peacefully in the early hours of January 18, 2026, at 12:45 AM at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Though her time with us was cut short, the love she shared and the light she brought into our lives will forever remain in our hearts.
Born on April 3, 1952, Carol was a woman of unwavering strength, and determination. She had a way with people and you always knew where you stood. She was liked by many and added to the lives she touched. She was a generous spirit, always willing to help those in need. As a devoted mother to her sons Cory and Shaun, she guided them with wisdom born from her own life's joys and challenges. Her role as "Maw Maw" to her grandchildren; Aragorn "AJ," Domenick, Logan, Coltin, and Skylar was her greatest joy, filling her days with stories, games, and the kind of unconditional love that only a grandmother can give. Carol's spirit was a beacon for her family, teaching us all the true meaning of resilience, compassion, and determination.
She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Kathleen Louise Glassford; her father, Charles Glassford Sr., a WWII veteran and POW whose stories of courage undoubtedly shaped her own fortitude; and her brother, Charles Glassford Jr., whose memory she held close.
Carol leaves behind a legacy of love carried on by her surviving brothers, Terry Glassford and Robert Glassford; her devoted sons, Cory Kneasel and Shaun Lymaster; and her adored grandchildren, who will forever cherish the moments they shared with her.
In celebration of Carol's beautiful life, a Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Saint Cecilia's Church on Lehman Street in Lebanon, PA. All who knew her, or were touched by her kindness, are warmly welcome to join in honoring her memory.
