Carol Ann Roberts, 73, of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away December 2, 2025. Born December 4, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to the late William M. and Marion M. (Jurewicz) Kindle, Carol lived in Temperance, Michigan during her childhood, graduating from Bedford High School in 1969 then Washtenaw Community College in 1971 with a degree in radiologic technology.
In 1972, Carol met the love of her life, Roy Roberts, and they married February 8, 1974. After daughters Chelsie and Jessica were born, the family moved to Swanton in 1980. Carol worked as an x-ray technician at Fulton County Health Center until the Summer of 1988, when Carol and Roy said goodbye to Midwest winters and headed south to Pinellas County. Carol spent the next 20 years as an ultrasonographer in Tampa and St. Petersburg, particularly fond of pediatric patients. Her hobbies were many through the years - from snow skiing, biking and rollerblading to cooking, gardening and crafting. A lifelong music fan, Joni Mitchell, Sade, Lionel Richie, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner and the Rollings Stones more than often infused her home. "Nana" will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren for being their #1 cheerleader and, of course, her famous Christmas cookies.
Carol is survived by daughters Chelsie (Jarrid) Flynn and Jessica Roberts; grandchildren Mia and Elias DaSalla and Cian, Emery, Sawyer and Shepard Flynn; brothers Richard (Sally) Kindle and James Kindle; sisters Suzanne (Michael) Tonjes and Dianne Kindle; brothers-in-law Wayne (Karen) Roberts and Dean (Cindy) Roberts; sister-in-law Marian Roberts; and several nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents and brother William C. Kindle, Carol was preceded in death by 43 days by her devoted husband Roy.
A celebration of life for Carol and Roy will be held at Oak Openings Lodge in Whitehouse, Ohio on June 28, 2026.
