Carole Elizabeth Marie (Mills) Harn, a longtime resident of Mill Creek, WA and formerly of the Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle, passed away on December 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and husband.
Carole was born on August 17, 1942 in Seattle, WA to Everett and Mable Mills. She lived in Magnolia for 55 years before moving to Mill Creek in 1997 with her husband. Carole graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 1960 and soon after began her career with New York Life Insurance Company. She later married the love of her life, Lawrence Harn, with whom she shared 45 wonderful years of marriage.
Carole was full of fun, loving, charismatic, and deeply faithful. She had a warm smile, a kind word for everyone, and a gift for making people feel welcome. She loved music, dancing, cooking, gardening, fishing, animals, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, where her playful spirit and love of fun were always on full display. She was also compassionate, kind, and devoted to her faith. Carole will be forever loved, remembered, and deeply missed by all who were privileged to know her.
Carole is survived by her husband, Lawrence Harn; her sons, Lance (Christina) Vanetta and Brett (Jennifer) Vanetta; her stepdaughter, Linda Smith; her grandchildren, Cory, Vanessa, Ashley, Brianna, Lily, Soren, Nick, Marissa, and Ella; and her great-grandchildren, Willa, Beni, Kingston, and Kira.
