Caroline (Carly) Rose Fiorello

May 12, 1998 - November 18, 2025

Caroline (Carly) Rose Fiorello, 27, of Robbinsville, NJ, passed away on November 18, 2025. Born on May 12, 1998, in Chuncheon, South Korea, Carly endured an arduous 24-hour bus journey to Seoul airport when she was just five months old. On October 15, 1998, she arrived at JFK International Airport through Holt International and was carried off the plane in the arms of retired New York Police Officer Michael Lenihan, a beloved family friend who, by a twist of fate, was working Customs that day. In that moment she was welcomed into the hearts and home of Vincent and Rosemarie Fiorello and her big brother Nicholas, beginning a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and unbreakable spirit.

A proud graduate of the Robbinsville public school system, Carly threw herself into everything she loved: martial arts, recreational softball, cross-country, shot put, stage crew, juggling, and bowling, where her talent shone brightly. Encouraged by her grandfather Vincent Fiorello, she took up bowling and became a gifted player who could consistently roll strikes! She fearlessly took the Polar Bear Plunge in both New Jersey and Wisconsin and generously donated her hair to Locks of Love on multiple occasions. Theatre and music were her lifelong passions; she could quote Wicked line-for-line and never missed a chance to see Lady Gaga perform. Carly shared an extraordinary bond with her dog Dash—her loyal shadow, her constant companion, and truly her best friend in this world.

In 2019 Carly earned her associate's degree in Aviation from Mercer County Community College. She then chased and achieved her greatest dream: becoming a United States Marine, earning the rank of Corporal. She graduated boot camp at Parris Island with Platoon Papa 4045 and served with pride at Camp Lejeune, Twenty-Nine Palms, and Camp Pendleton, always speaking of her fellow Marines as "My Marines."

While stationed in San Diego, she continued her education, earning a degree in Data Analytics with a specialization in Cybersecurity from the University of San Diego. After her military service, Carly began a promising civilian career with Alliant Energy in Wisconsin. Never one to stop learning or reaching higher, Carly completed her technical certification in a program sponsored by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She was accepted in an apprenticeship in Savannah, GA and would study to became an Aviation Maintenance Technician due to start January 19, 2026.

Carly was predeceased by her beloved grandparents Vincent and Helen Fiorello, Coleman and Rose Braddish; her beloved aunt and uncles Thomas and Debra Braddish and James Braddish; her beloved aunt Kathleen Marino; and her devoted dog Dash.

She is survived and forever cherished by her parents, Vincent and Rosemarie Fiorello of Robbinsville, NJ; her brother Nicholas Fiorello; her aunts and uncles Dr. David and Heather Fiorello, Edward and Eileen Valerio, Joseph Marino, Brad and Marisa Bower, Sean and Olea Braddish, Maureen Wright, Karen Gillian, and Cathi and Maggie Lenihan; as well as a large circle of loving cousins.

A private celebration-of-life ceremony will be held for Carly's immediate family.
