Carolyn Grayce (Ball) Clamp beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Christmas Day surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old.
Carolyn was born and raised in on the West side of Santa Cruz, California. Was the only child of George and Harriet Ball, and remained deeply rooted in her hometown her entire life.
Graduate from Santa Cruz High School class of 1964, where she was an active member of the Commercial Club.
Through this experience she developed strong communication and business skills that served her well throughout her working life.
Carolyn held various employments one of her first jobs as a teenager was working in a pet shop, where she developed her strong love of animals.
She also worked at Ferrells Donut House on Mission Street where she became a local favorite.
Later in life she enjoyed running her own booth at the flea market selling antique toys, fine linens, and collectibles along side her dear friend Karen. An adventure that combined her love of people, great stories and treasured memories.
Some of her favorite activities were taking long walks along West Cliff Drive with her dog Max, trips to San Francisco with her daughter, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Carolyn's life was marked by quiet faith and generosity. Always there to help a friend or someone in need.
Her children always knew they were loved unconditionally.
Her family finds peace in knowing that she is resting in arms of her savior.
She is survived by her daughter Sherry "Summer" Harris, Son in law Michael Neilond. Twin sons Kenneth Clamp, George Clamp and his wife Lisa Clamp. Her grandchildren Kiara and husband Ross, Kyle, Ashley, Tristan, Mason, and her four cherished great grandchildren.
Carolyn's legacy of love, compassion and connection will continue to live on through each of them.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
