Carolyn Elizabeth Hubbuch Hall, 90, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on October 9, 1935, in Louisville, Carolyn lived a full and vibrant life rooted in faith, family, and community.

A proud graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Carolyn carried the values instilled during her education throughout her life. A devout Catholic, she was married at St. Agnes Church and later worshiped at Epiphany Catholic Church, where her faith remained a cornerstone of her life.

Carolyn cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her children: Julia Hall, Claudia Hall Meredith, and James Hall. Her love for her children extended to her grandchildren and was matched only by the deep bonds she shared with her lifelong group of friends.

An active and social individual, Carolyn found joy in many pursuits. As a girl and young Mother, her summers were often spent at Lakeside Swim Club, where she not only enjoyed the water but also served as a swim instructor, sharing her skills and passion with others. She was an avid bridge player who relished the camaraderie of the game. Her green thumb brought beauty to her surroundings through gardening, and she delighted in traveling to explore new places.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Lyda and Behrle Hubbuch Sr., as well as her brother Behrle Hubbuch Jr. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and dedication to those she held dear. May Carolyn's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Her wish was to be cremated. A Wake/Celebration of Life will be planned at her daughter's home in a few weeks. Reach out to one of her daughters for details.
