Carolyn Kay Simmons

Carolyn Kay Simmons, 76, of Willis, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2026. She was born on February 18, 1950, in Houston, Texas.

Carolyn built a long and respected career with AIG, where she worked for 26 years as an account manager. She partnered closely with brokers and clients in group insurance, managing accounts across Louisiana and Houston. She was known for her dedication, professionalism, and the strong relationships she built throughout her career.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kyle Simmons; sister, Linda Gage; daughter, Kimberley Hill; and her stepchildren, Shawna Fisher, Ryan Simmons, and Daniel Simmons. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mattie Sparks and son, Kenneth Jones.

Carolyn was a proud and devoted grandmother to Sailor Hill and step-grandchildren Noah Denham Simmons, Evy Simmons, Sienna Simmons, Jude Simmons, Kolbe Simmons, Mary Simmons, Lincoln Fisher, and Reid Simmons.

She had a deep love for reading, movies, and traveling. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She also held a special place in her heart for Lake Conroe, where she found peace and happiness.

Carolyn will be remembered as strong and resilient, yet incredibly sweet. She had a unique gift for connecting with people, whether lifelong friends or complete strangers, and made everyone feel seen and valued. Her warmth, conversation, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., April 10, 2026, at Montgomery United Methodist Church, 22548 SH-105 W, Montgomery, Texas 77356.
