NORTH OXFORD - Catherine Mary Keegan, 67, affectionately known as Titi, Cathy, and Keegan, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Sharkey) Keegan. She was raised in Manchester, CT, and graduated from Manchester High School in 1977. She then spent the majority of her life in the Oxford, MA area.
She will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind woman with an infectious spirit that touched anyone who was lucky enough to know her. She deeply cared about her family and friends and always looked forward to holiday gatherings, her daily neighborhood walks and celebrating family milestones. She held a special love for Nantucket and the family time spent there. She had a love for animals and dearly missed her two cats, Casey and Keegan.
She worked at Stop & Shop for more than 35 years before retiring. She took great pride in her career and in the Stop & Shop family she built over the decades. Co-workers said they could hear her laugh from five aisles away.
She was an avid fan of Boston sports and could often be seen wearing her white Patriots vest. Known for her quick wit, she never missed a chance to tease those she loved. Titi was surely an American Original.
She is survived by her brother, William Keegan and his wife Lorie of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Anne Torrance and her husband Jeffrey of East Lyme, CT; seven nephews and nieces, Matthew Torrance and his wife Deirdre of Old Greenwich, CT, Kristen Clarke and her husband Matthew of Bow, NH, Michael Torrance and his wife Grace of West Newbury, MA, Nicholas Torrance (Mykela DeLuca) of San Francisco, CA, Daniel Keegan and his wife Emily Edison of Decatur, GA, Lindsay Keegan and her husband Greg Barltrop of Salt Lake City, UT, and Caroline Keegan (Luke Pate) of Brooklyn, NY; eight great-nieces and nephews, Carly, William, Drew, Helen, Lincoln, Bridget, Samuel, and Sean, several cousins, and many loving friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by a great-nephew, Hank Torrance.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Tiny Miracles Foundation, ttmf.org, in memory of Hank Torrance.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
