Cathleen Burke

Today we celebrated her life and said goodbye to our beloved sister Cathleen Burke who passed away on October 3, 2025 in Palm Springs CA.
She was the daughter of Daniel and Catherine Celotto Burke.
Surviving are her brothers Daniel , Tim, and Chris and their wives Kathleen, Barbara, and Lynn, eight nieces and nephews, and her treasured friends in Palm Springs, Sara Swanson, James Pirone, and Warren Mohr and many others.
She was predeceased by her younger sister Mary Burke Close.
Cathleen was a 1971 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and in 1974 graduated from Parson's School of Design where she earned a degree in fashion illustration.
She worked in Manhattan for many years before retiring and moving west, to first Oregon and then Palm Springs where she began a new and happy life with dear friends of shared interests such as art and theater.
Her ashes were interred next to our parents in a private ceremony
Cathleen will live in the hearts and memory of all of us who loved her so.
