Cathy Ann Pavloski, 68, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, in Safety Harbor, Florida surrounded by loving friends and music, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Born on October 3, 1957, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Cathy lived a vibrant and fulfilling life marked by her love of music, her dedication to family and friends, and her remarkable career in the casino and hospitality industries.
Cathy graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, Wisconsin, in 1975 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her professional journey began as a casino dealer and evolved into roles as a marketing manager for casinos. Most recently, she worked at OWA Parks & Recreation in Foley, Alabama. Throughout her career, Cathy formed countless lifelong friendships that she cherished deeply.
A gifted musician from an early age, Cathy could play any musical instrument with ease. She was especially talented on the piano and was an award-winning accordion player during her youth. Her brothers "fondly" recall attending many of her recitals over the years—a testament to her dedication and talent. Music remained a cornerstone of Cathy's life alongside her other passions: cooking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
Cathy was a loving sister to Steven (Terri), David (Lilibeth), and Chad (Amanda). She was also a devoted aunt to her nephews Craig (Lori), Jayce (Stacey), Nick (Ami), James, and Lachlan; great-niece Marissa; and great-nephews Jayce and Braxtyn. She is predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Patricia Pavloski and her brother Robert.
Known for her warmth and generosity of spirit, Cathy was not only a beloved family member but also a great friend and mentor to many. Her kindness touched all who knew her.
In honor of Cathy's memory, donations may be made to a local cancer organization or a charity of your choice. A special thanks to her wonderful friends that were able to be there for her.
May Cathy's legacy of love, music, and friendship continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. The family will have a private ceremony and graveside service along with our mother Patricia who passed in January.
